Hana Fahmy is a community psychologist, a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) consultant, the Cofounder of The Community Hub (The Community Hub), and an Adjunct Faculty at The American University in Cairo (AUC). Through her work experience, she has interacted with different communities, specifically, youth, people and children with disabilities, and women.

TCH is a consulting agency offering services such as influencing and promotion, capacity building, and community assessment on 5 main focus areas – impact management, gender issues, wellbeing and psychosocial support supervision, entrepreneurship, and disabilities.

She has also consulted for international donors such as The Binational Fulbright Commission, Drosos Foundation, The British Council in Egypt, Save the Children International Egypt, and Care International in Egypt to carry out qualitative research, internal assessment, mid-term and outcome evaluations, and design monitoring and evaluation systems in different areas like women trafficking, mental health, rooftop farming in informal settlements, cultural and educational exchange, sexual harassment, disabilities, agriculture and women empowerment, economic empowerment of released prisoners, youth employment, disabilities, and entrepreneurship.

Her area of expertise is collaborative and strength-based approaches in monitoring and evaluation, program implementation, and community assessment. She has implemented over 14 community assessments as an evaluation consultant, all of which have been either participatory or collaborative in nature.

She has facilitated Appreciative Inquiry Workshops, which enhanced the participatory process of the assessments, and a number of logic model and evaluation workshops and training. She has conducted 8 rounds of Impact Management and Measurement (IMM) workshop for SMEs and Startups, and has designed a handbook for IMM.

Since 2019, and as the CEO at The Community Hub, she has lead and co-lead a total of 25 short-term and long-term assignments with National, International, Governmental, and Private Sector Organizations.

Before her consulting career, she managed the Scholarship Unit for Undergraduates and Graduates, and the Student Loan Program at one of the leading non-profit foundations in Egypt, and had other positions in local and international organizations.

Finally, in addition to her consulting journey and her role as a co-founder and CEO at TCH, she is an adjunct faculty at The American University in Cairo, where she teaches Community Psychology to undergraduates and graduates and teaches theories and practice on different community topics and issues.
